Theme update…
I changed the default site theme to something simple, and a bit more in line with my current likes. I’ve got the next 3 days off work, so I’m going to allot a bit of that time to hopefully working on translating the CSS theme I’ve been developing into a wordpress theme so that I can proceed to launch it here. It’s simple, and something my site has lost a bit I feel.
When I originally launched this site the upkeep was insane. Everything was hand written, but I loved the look and feel I had developed for the page layout. Problem was, my tastes change a lot when it comes to design, and I found myself spending more time on maintenance than actually posting content. Lately, I’ve been slacking on content because the presentation isn’t where I want it to be. So it’s time to fix that, it’s time to get back to my roots, while still being able to allow WordPress to do it’s job and handle all the backend code that I’d honestly rather not deal with on this project.
So hopefully you’ll be seeing a change again by Thursday, and if nothing else, I’ll post some screenshots of the work in progress. (Even though my visit count has gone down recently due to lack of updates, I still can’t launch an at least mostly complete theme)

Tweaks and More Coming
So I really decided that orange wasn’t my thing. Why green? Well, it just kinda works for me. I’ve started slowly working thru the template, and hopefully within a couple days or so I’ll have a nice little personalization of it. Something I’ve been meaning to do for a while, but just haven’t gotten around to it honestly. Kinda feels nice to get a couple things done.
In other news, I apologize for my silence of late. I’ve had a lot on my mind, and even more on my plate as it were. It’s been a very insane month for me, and the next one doesn’t look like it’s going to slow down at all. 
Crazy how things work out like that huh? Oh well! Starting into better weather, and that should help a bunch for me personally. Love the winter!
Anyway, just a quick update to say yes, I’m alive, yes I’m around, and yes I’ll be updating this sooner than a month from now.

New About Me Page
Last day of the month, and finished up my new About Me page. It’s a bit rough, it’s got some jagged edges, and it’s still considered a work in progress by me. But you know what? I like it better than my previous one already, so that works for me. I’m still looking for more feedback on what people would like to see there, aside of course from an actual picture of me, which once I find a good one I’ll post.
As June comes to a close, and August starts anew, I’d like to wish everyone out there a wonderful wonderful new month. May it treat us all better than the previous, and for the love of all that is holy in this world may it actually COOL DOWN! This heatwave is beyond stupid.
Anyway, just a quick blurb saying “Yay! I updated the page!”, and more to come still down the road!

Why is it when I fly…
… I always come home, and feel like complete and utter garbage. My throat hurts, my nose is clogged, I couldn’t sleep for crap last night. So here I sit, a direct function of the process that is the American travel experience, and I’m pooped. Trip was overall good, bit hotter than I’d have hoped for, but there was lightning and thunder to make up for some of that heat. Took some time to think, some time to reflect, some time to realize exactly what it was about me that makes me tick. Good stuff honestly, good stuff indeed.
One thing I will say, I missed my friends, both old and new. You don’t really realize what you’ve got staring at you in the face until you’re not able to contact it for a while. Granted, I was there for a very specific purpose, and I wouldn’t have traded it at all. But it does put one into kinda a reflective mode. Anyway!
Coming sooner than later (ie: very likely this week):
- Updated About Me Page: I’m not pleased at all with the great american novel that is my about me page, so yea, major revamp time.
- Couple Posts of Ideas: I’ve been organizing my life a bit of late, and there’s a couple ideas I’ve come up with that would assist me with using the tools I already use better.
- Integration: If you couldn’t tell, I’m not only here, but I’m on Twitter and on Facebook as well. They’re my choice for ‘asides’ posts if you will. What do I want to do with that? Get a little more bi-directional posting, so that everywhere can be updated every time.
Anyway, yea, that’s me. And look, it didn’t take a year for the next update! *cough* More later.
P.S.: Broiler + Sandwich stuffs + 5 minutes == Charcoal.

Updates, oh my…
So I’ve yet again changed the theme of the page… but I’ve done more too, allow me to explain:
I’ve removed the tutorials. Well, okay, not removed them but rather moved them over to my other domain of AnPobal. Why? It’s a sorting thing… that site will be used for development and technical stuff, while this one reverts back to something more personal.
I’ve changed the theme. I just like how this one looks base, so I’m sticking with it. Moreover, it avoids me getting into what has blocked me from posting here for a while… So hopefully it’ll let me get some creative juices flowing.
I’ve updated some pages. My WoW UI page is still a work in progress, I’m going to be adding a few more items to the 100+ facts about me once I finish this post, and I’ll be re-writing most if not all of the about me page here in the coming week.
But most importantly… and I really do feel this is huge… I’m going to work on integrating this into my other social network sites, so that peoii.com remains something more than it has been over the last 2 years. I like my website, I always have, and I need to do this for myself.
So yea, this time I mean it… changes on the horizon… and this time, I swear it won’t take another year to post!
