Playing around with Video Editing
So I’ve been playing around with editing video recorded in Fraps, and started recording some of the gaming I do which occupies my mind and keeps me sane some nights. The following is one such result, and I figured why not post about it here, so um yea, without further delay, I submit the following for your viewing enjoyment:

Gmail Filter Idea
So I love my Gmail account. It’s available everywhere I need to go, it’s easy to access, you can build ontop of it with new lab features, and it’s powerful enough to support filters. Well, okay, most of the filters I’d want…
See, I consider myself a power Gmail user. I import multiple email addresses in, and as such, I rely on filters and labels to keep what remains of my feeble mind intact so that I can actually manage the bulk of information that flies thru my Inbox every single day. So this is what my normal Inbox looks like:
My problem is, as you can see I have for instance a tag for “Family”, that I must then manually add each individual of my family to that filter or they’re not properly handled. What I would really like to see is the capability to add a filter based on a contact group, for instance:
from: group(Family)
That way everyone that is in my “Family” contact group would automagically become a part of the filter that would add the “Family” label to their email so that I could more easily manage those emails. It’d flow with my own personal design concept of “add information in one place, and instantly allow it to propagate to other locations”. I dunno, for all of Gmail’s wonderful features, this is the one that sticks out like a sore thumb in my mind and screams “Need to fix!” Who knows, maybe we can look forward to this capability when Wave is polished a bit more and opened up to the anxiously waiting beta list?
Otherwise, I absolutely adore my Gmail account, and highly recommend one to anyone interested in keeping their mail with them on the go. Or hell, even if you’re not on the go, not having to worry about your computer crashing out on you and losing that oh-so-important email makes me sleep easier at night.
It could just use that one more feature…

New About Me Page
Last day of the month, and finished up my new About Me page. It’s a bit rough, it’s got some jagged edges, and it’s still considered a work in progress by me. But you know what? I like it better than my previous one already, so that works for me. I’m still looking for more feedback on what people would like to see there, aside of course from an actual picture of me, which once I find a good one I’ll post.
As June comes to a close, and August starts anew, I’d like to wish everyone out there a wonderful wonderful new month. May it treat us all better than the previous, and for the love of all that is holy in this world may it actually COOL DOWN! This heatwave is beyond stupid.
Anyway, just a quick blurb saying “Yay! I updated the page!”, and more to come still down the road!

Something I need to say…
I don’t often take time to simply reflect on things, well at least not as often as I should. I’ve had a lot of friends in the past whom have come and gone, and the latter part of that bothers me something fierce.

Thank you to all those who have been there for me, been my friend, been my guide, and just been the wonderful people you are. Over the next month during my wonderful federal jury duty time, I’m going to make an attempt to contact some folks I’ve simply lost contact with. There are people I think about weekly, that I simply havn’t talked to in years.
In other news, I need your help. Anyone who reads the site, any feedback you could provide.
What would you like to know about me? I mean, I’ve got the huge fact list, but I’ve been working on the revamped About Me page, and I need some help with things you might like to see included. So comment on this post, leave your mark, leave your suggestion, and you’ll probably see it. (I’ve got nothing to hide)
Anyway! Back to working on various projects, and thinking things thru. Just wanted to say that little diddy.

Updates, oh my…
So I’ve yet again changed the theme of the page… but I’ve done more too, allow me to explain:
I’ve removed the tutorials. Well, okay, not removed them but rather moved them over to my other domain of AnPobal. Why? It’s a sorting thing… that site will be used for development and technical stuff, while this one reverts back to something more personal.
I’ve changed the theme. I just like how this one looks base, so I’m sticking with it. Moreover, it avoids me getting into what has blocked me from posting here for a while… So hopefully it’ll let me get some creative juices flowing.
I’ve updated some pages. My WoW UI page is still a work in progress, I’m going to be adding a few more items to the 100+ facts about me once I finish this post, and I’ll be re-writing most if not all of the about me page here in the coming week.
But most importantly… and I really do feel this is huge… I’m going to work on integrating this into my other social network sites, so that peoii.com remains something more than it has been over the last 2 years. I like my website, I always have, and I need to do this for myself.
So yea, this time I mean it… changes on the horizon… and this time, I swear it won’t take another year to post!
