I’ve seen this done on a couple other webblogs, and I always thought it’d be a neat idea. Well, the time has come, and so I present to you 100 Facts About Me. This list may grow beyond 100 as time permits, but I thought it’d be an interesting way for folks to get to know the real me deep down inside. So yea, without further adue, the list:
- I was born at Harrison Hospital in Bremerton, Washington
- I am the oldest of 2 children
- My parents divorced when I was 4
- I graduated from Olympic High School and the Oregon Institute of Technology
- My sister is the closest person in my life to someone who really understands me
- I’m horrible about telling my sister how much I really care for her
- I am indeed a natural redhead
- At times, I’ve got the temper to match the hair
- Yes, I am covered in freckles. No, I’ve never counted how many.
- I am quite the Irishman at heart
- Sometimes I feel as though Ireland is calling me home
- I love music in all sounds, colours, and genres
- My favorite bands include: Green Day, E Nomine, Paul Oakenfold, and Bad Religion
- I didn’t even have a girlfriend until I was 18
- I had however been on several blind dates
- I have a thing for accents
- I have the capacity to love unconditionally
- I absolutely love pets
- I have had 5 cats at one time
- I hate soft cheesecake
- My favorite colour is blue
- I can feel electricity moving around underground, overhead, or thru a wall
- I’ve missed the opportunity of a lifetime
- When I get nervous, I sometimes chew holes in the neckline of my shirts
- My favorite car I’ve ever owned was a 1986 Subaru XL Wagon
- My dream car is a Subaru Outback Wagon
- I’m nocturnal by nature, though society forces me to keep other hours
- I am an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America with Troop 1541 out of Silverdale, WA
- I was also a member of the Order of the Arrow
- Eventually, I want to have children
- I’d rather do dishes than mow the yard
- I love movies, and have quite the DVD collection
- My favorite movie of all time is Dead Poets Society
- My least favorite movie of all time is Titus
- I’m a sci-fi nut
- I am a geek
- It seems as though anything that has to do with computers comes naturally to me
- Of all people who helped me thru college, I owe the most to Randy Albert
- I meditate a lot to clear my head out
- I hate being alone
- Ich spreche sehr wenig deutsch
- Of all languages I’d like to learn fluently, Gaelic and Russian top the list
- I can’t draw worth a damn on paper
- I seem to have a nack for drawing on a computer
- I think in three dimensions
- I’d rather be blind than deaf
- I’m afraid of small spaces
- I hate spiders
- I love snakes, even though sometimes they scare me
- I used to hate potatos… Yea, go figure that one for an Irishman eh?
- I go thru periods where I crave salt
- Some people twink out their car… I twink out my computer
- I wonder if anyone is actually going to read all of these
- I can see peoples aura
- I feel in colour
- I can easily type over 80wpm
- I’m a big supporter of the open source software movement
- I really like Linux
- I find programming (on my terms) to be relaxing
- I used to keep a pad of graph paper where I designed space ships in it
- My first teddy bear was named Brown Bear
- I still have Brown Bear
- My first cat was named Jake
- Jake was a female cat
- The first nintendo system I ever got, my sister and I got for Christmas as a joint gift, and we got the brand new Super Mario 3 with it
- I’ve been addicted to computer games ever since
- I’m often to quick to drop everything and move on… I miss some of the old friends I’ve had
- I’ve worked in 3 call centers
- I’ve owned my own business
- At times, all I’ve ever wanted to do was to make my family proud of me
- I’ve lost relatives and friends to drunk drivers
- My middle name (Charles) comes from an uncle I never met
- I’m generally a pretty quiet person
- My favorite flavour of Ice Cream is Cherry
- Best part of thanksgiving in my book is the pumpkin pie
- I still wake up early on Christmas
- I’m a big kid at heart
- I took many many years of dance lessons as a kid
- Don’t tell anyone, but I actually like dressing up in a suit
- Sometimes I swear like a sailor
- I love going for a drive to destination unknown
- I used roman numerals for the numbering on this list because the order isn’t as important as the content that’s contained within
- My favorite sport is skiing
- I once wound up in a leg brace for a couple months because I injured myself on the bunny slope
- I’ve got a thing for flanel
- I’m always looking for ways to improve my website… even if I’m completely happy with it at the time
- I eat the crust of my pizza with honey
- Snowy Day, Big Blanket, Fireplace, and a woman I love to share it with me…. To me? That’s heaven
- I spell colour, honour, and flavour all with a U in them
- My favorite TV Shows are Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, Firefly, and Star Trek: The Next Generation
- I’m big into free (as in beer…) software. From Linux, to Wordpress, to OpenOffice.
- My favorite alcohol beverages include Irish Creme, Irish Whiskey, Guiness, Rum and Coke, and Jack and Coke.
- Even if I’ve JUST finished a new layout on this website, it would seem I’m constantly thinking of ways to improve upon it
- I take pride in taking life at a slower pace
- Somewhere, out there, I too have the “baby naked butt” picture of myself floating around…
- I rarely remember my dreams after I wake up
- I’m hairy like an bear, and have been told I’m just as warm as one
- No matter what I do in life, I hold on to one statement that gets me thru: “I’m going to be alright”
- I say “No problem” a LOT…
- I can play the Tenor Saxophone, and Piano. Though the Piano not quite so well.
- This list just passed 100 Facts… I’m kinda amazed that I could do it
- My first job ever was bagging groceries and pushing carts at a local supermarket
- I enjoy a really good steak, even though I could easily go without meat for the most part in my diet
- I sleep with a minimum of 2 pillows
- I love looking at various architecture, from gothic to modern to abstract
- I’ve always got to wear loose fitting jeans, because I’ve got huge legs
- I keep memories not in pictures of the past, but feelings that portrayed during the time
- I write software not to make money, but because I enjoy what I do
- I cry
- I have never done drugs
- I prefer to attempt to let my immune system tackle something before simply “popping a pill”
- I’m naturally left handed
- I do however, use my mouse with my right hand
- I don’t dance often… but when I do, and provided it’s with someone special, I can completely enjoy doing it
- I have a knack for finding the good side to any situation
- Black, White, Brown, Blue, Red or any other are not colours I associate with people… We’re all human, equal by design
- I don’t like having my picture taken
- There is something about a certain type of woman that just sets my heart a blaze. It’s that athletic “I can stand up for myself” yet also very caring and compassionate mix that gets me every single time
- No matter how much I’ve ever had one around me, I don’t really care for cellphones
- I really enjoy just walking around sometimes, it gives me time to clear my head
- When out at a shopping place, I’m usually more interested in the people around me than the merchandise on the shelves
- For the right person? No distance is to great
- I am an advid World of Warcraft player.

Hey, i read them all. I remember when we got that nintendo and the power was out, and we sat looking at the manual talking about what we were going to do and how we were going to play once the power was back on. hahaha, good times

I’m forever sorry that I wasn’t there when you needed me. I never had a good dad example to emulate. I had to figure it out. Still have to. You weren’t named after Jamie Farr BTW. We had a renter with Jaime as a last name and I liked the name. You almost were called Kelly but when the delivery nurse asked for your name, I decided on Jamie then and there and that was it.
